Neil Young Archive: Out of the RED and Into the BLACK
The Neil Young Archive (NYA) is now out of the RED and into the BLACK -- financially speaking.
Neil Young announced on NYA that his Archives website is no longer posting losses. Five
years after launching, NYA is now financially breaking even.
"I'm pleased to report that NYA has reached an important milestone and is self-sustaining. Revenue from subscribers would now cover development and operational costs.Thank you all for supporting our efforts and helping us get to this point."
The "Neil Young Archives", on which Young's entire catalog is streamed in high-resolution quality and presented with comprehensive background information, went online in December 2017.
The number of subscribers is estimated to be about 20,000.

Well I did my part. I became a Patron, and have purchased every single release he’s ever released. And on release day for the most part. There’s really only so much one man can do, but I’m genuinely glad NYA is at least breaking even. Considering many of the other options out there in the cloud; it’s a huge bargain.

So you think NYA#3? Presumably, this alludes to the upcoming Crazy Horse album recorded over the summer and produced by Rick Rubin?
Maybe the suggestion here is that the new album contains heavy Mother EARTH themes?
