Hey, Hey: We're Back!
"They were hiding behind hay bales,
They were planting in the full moon"
After a much needed reprieve off the grid, we're finally back home safely.
thrashette and thrasher are refreshed from our planned sabbatical (as opposed to last year's unplanned sabbatical) and getting ready for our Farm Aid pilgrimage down to the Carolinas.
It feels so good to do an annual digital detox and escape from the grip of the black mirror.
We're looking forward to seeing all of our FarmAidian and Rustie friends very soon. It's been way, way too long.
Find us so we can catch up and look for the FA "Magic Bus" in the parking lot!

Welcome back you two. So glad you had a relaxed trip away.
Peace 🙏
thanks so much Dan!
it was so nice to get away from 'net access and unplug. away from folks staring down and doom scrolling.
we try and do short cell free weekends on occasion. it really takes many days to digitally detox fully and clear away the brain fog from EMF smog. definitely rejuvenating and we feel better than we have since our last detox. altho that was under some unpleasant forced circumstances, as you know.
highly recommended if you've never tried. also, unplug router at night or put on a timer.
we're still catching up w/ a bunch of neil stuff. we see that NYA is self sustaining, the queen is dead, but rock and roll will never die.
Very essential to unplug and disconnect from the technological woo we have created. I sometimes put my phone away for days on end, and remember the lazy days of summer without a care in the world. I can easily recommend it to everyone, but I would never think of forcing anyone to go there. But for those who haven’t tried it yet, I can happily suggest trying it out for a day or two.
Peace 🙏
Woo was intended to be world….. but woo works too.
Peace 🙏
