PLAYLIST: Neil Young's Unreleased Songs on NYA
Neil Young's Unreleased Songs:
The Unofficial Archive - UPDATE Version 7 (Abridged): 12 November 2019
Recently, we received a note from Jake Z. inquiring about whether there was a list of the songs that Neil Young has put on the Archives but were not released on CD.
Jake was asking because he would like to put together a playlist for his listening pleasure.
So we shared back the invaluable research which long time rustie Robert Broadfoot -- who hails from Germany -- produced as a PDF document that Thrasher's Wheat has been honored to serve as host when we first published the most comprehensive listing of Neil Young’s unreleased material: The Unofficial Archive - Neil Young's Unreleased Songs.
So Jake cross referenced The Unofficial Archive - Neil Young's Unreleased Songs with the Neil Young Archives and produced the following playlist:

Thanks for the citation, Thrasher. Of course my list is a little out of date now what with Neil being so prolific in the meantime with his Archive releases! And there are always corrections and even a few additions, Song Of The Season for example.
Oh and by the way, the FB Group has in the meantime changed its name to just
Neil Young Unreleased - NYU. Avoids any confusion with NYA.
If anyone here is interested, the link is new too, if I may be permitted to post it

Keep on rockin'
Hi, me again. I actually have a more complete list of recordings on NYA which are not available on physical media. I will send it to Thrasher to see if he wants to publish it. It does not include My Time and Go On And Cry since these were released on a Motown compilation (very expensive though!) or the versuion of Cinnamon Girl which was released as a single.
"Theme from Dead Man" was released as a promo single at the time. Still have mine!
Yes I can see there being a few useful lists here!
- Actually unreleased tracks
- B-sides, rarities promos, blu-ray live additions and Easter eggs
For example, I have every NY album but haven’t the room, budget or equipment to purchase every single so am probably missing some different mixes and b-sides etc.
The archives is a treasure trove but can be hard to navigate, so playlists would be very useful!
Thanks to those who have had a go, much appreciated.
I love that alternate-vocal Cinnamon Girl single.

I know this is off topic some. Throwing a thought out there. Album of the year for me goes to Neil Young. The Times. Simple delivery. I like his voice in his older days. Southern Man really stands out, especially the harmonica solos. Neil's version of Times They are a Changing, just nails it.
Thanks for posting my list! What I was going for is stuff that's on the archives that you can't get on CD or relatively easily. I guess Shut It Down 2020, Sign of Love, and the Mynah Birds stuff is available on iTunes, but the rest can only streamed on NYA. Am I missing any?
