Recently, we posted on creating a PLAYLIST for Neil Young's Unreleased Songs on NYA after receiving a note from Jake Z.

Jake had inquired about whether there was a list of the songs that Neil Young has put on the Archives but were not released on CD in order to create a playlist for his listening pleasure.

Which brings us to the invaluable research that long time rustie Robert Broadfoot -- who hails from Germany -- who has produced as a PDF document that Thrasher's Wheat has been honored to serve as host when we first published the most comprehensive listing of Neil Young’s unreleased material: The Unofficial Archive - Neil Young's Unreleased Songs.

Robert writes us and says:

I now see I had a more detailed list of releases on NYA only, which are not available on physical media.

You can look at it and see if it would be useful to TW readers. Jake only mentions “not on CD” but my list excludes songs on any official physical audio media. I therefore do not include Go On And Cry, It’s My Time or Cinnamon Girl (single) for example. My list does include Birds with Graham Nash, however, as this was not out yet (just) at the time of writing. All Jake’s other titles were on my list. I have not checked if anything is on mine which was not on his, however, but there may be one or two. My list is a bit “completist” so it may be too complicated for some!!

I also have a list “the other way round” – i.e. songs on official physical media (or e.g. iTunes only) which are NOT on NYA. Don’t know if your readers would be interested in that too.

Thanks Robert for helping us all keep track of all the details of NYA releases not on physical media, tangible assets, non-fungible tokens, and all sorts of exotica!
