Got me front row center seats for Wednesday and my buddy of 40+ years just happens to be in town. We saw our first Neil show together in 1983!

ah jeez you guys i'm so excited for you all going to see them in beautiful santa barbara, i have a solo ticket for fox theater detroit july 3. neil solo acoustic i believe. cheers to all of you dedicated neil fans these shows are exciting..

@Richard All these recent small venue shows have been announced on Neil Young Archives, under the NYA Times Contrarian "blog" section. So far, the promo code has always been nyarchives. It's a strategy for marketing the archives site to offer first dibs on things like ticket sales and new content to subscribers. Anyway, hope you end up with some tix -- there's still a lot of good seats available, and, in fact, in a 640 seat venue, I'd venture to say there are no bad seats in the house.
Shout out to Thrasher for the tip off to check the Archives for the announcement. I probably would have otherwise missed it since I don't check NYA everyday and there's no RSS feed for it.

Are all of Neil tickets non transferrable now?
For example I purchased 2 tix (Nice tickets 2 rows back in the center!) for the July 11th Boston show for a total cost of $552+
Now it looks like I can't make it to the show but there doesn't seem to be any way to sell, refund or gift the tickets to anyone unless I show up the night of the show and use the original credit card to let myself and a guest in to the show.
I think it is great that Neil wants to keep the tickets available for real fans but this is pretty restrictive policy. I don't want to scapl these tickets.. only get my money back or at the least gift them to someone.
BostonJim, good question. I was able to transfer some tickets to folks in Fresno for NYCH show and had 2 extras for Bakersfield that I transferred to someone. The problem w Boston is its a LiveNation show and they're notoriously unsympathetic ... but I see so many tickets available on stubhub it suggest there is likely a way to do a transfer. I might be transferring tickets for the 7/12 show if you figure this out please let me know how it worked and I'll try to do the same.
