TRAILER: 'Ricki and the Flash' by Jonathan Demme
Here's the new trailer for the upcoming film 'Ricki and the Flash'.
And you might say OK, so the Neil connection? Here are just a few of the Neil connections:
- Neil Young coached Meryl Streep on guitar playing and singing
- Rick Rosas is the bass player "Buster" in the band Flash and wears a EARTH shirt (see clip above)
- Rick Rosas recorded on the soundtrack before passing away two days later
- Film was directed by Jonathan Demme

As you can see from the trailer, Rosas didn't just record on the soundtrack, he appears in the film as Buster, the Flash's bassist.
So when miss Streep wins the academy award she will need to thank Neil. Cool
Don't care for Streep, but long may Rick Rosas run. Was very surprised to hear the news of his passing. He seemed like one of the most humble and easygoing musicians to play with Neil. Glad he got to do this movie and tour with the horse on his way out of this world and into the spirt winds
