Regardless of how great Neil & Peggy's music is, the Bridge School will be their legacy. I can't imagine a greater gift than what they've help these kids achieve.
This video put a smile on my face. It's easy to get lost in our fairly petty complaints of the day, but to see what these children are achieving puts it all in perspective.
The Bridge school has contributed greatly to so many lives and continues to do so. I don't have much, but I will soon be sending a donation to the school.
Thanks to Pegi for all of her day to day hard work in establishing and maintaining the program, and thank you Neil for supporting the school with your voice and actions.
And it all traces back to the Trans album:
"with the push of a button
You're a transformer man...
So many things still left to do
But we haven't made it yet"
Transformer Man--very appropriate on so many levels..
@Peacelover Doc - agree, we can't imagine a greater gift either.
@ TopangaDaze - yes, it puts a smile on our face too.
For us -- and many others -- the significance of "Transformer Man" was lost upon initial release. But now we realize that we can all be Transformer Men ... and Women too.
So what have you transformed today, might be the question of the moment...
