Chrissie Hynde's new album Stockholm features tracks with Neil Young on guitar including a blazing solo on "Down The Wrong Way."
In an interview earlier this year, on 92 CITI FM, Chrissie Hynde Of The Pretenders Says Of Neil Young:
“What can I say? If you believe in God, playing with Neil is probably the closest thing you’ll have to being in the presence. A demi – God,let’s say. As far as an individual, he’s the hippy you always imagined him to be, funny, personable, real easy going. He’s the guy who passes you a joint in the back of a station wagon as you’re traveling across some dusty terrain.More on Chrissie Hynde and Neil Young.

Interesting comment about being in the back seat with Neil. That's what I like about the audio book version of Special Deluxe. With Neil doing the reading himself, listening to it while driving is like you have some hitchhiker in the back seat nattering on about his life. A highly interesting life albeit.
Where is the highway tonight ?
I Have The Audio Book Too, Didn't Listen To It Yet. Neil Is Reading It, That's Really Cool.Waging Heavy Peace Was Read By A Guy His Name Draws A Blank With Me Right Now. Special Deluxe With Neil Reading It Will Be Great.
Thank you for prompting me to hear the song. Great quote from Hynde. If you gotta drive across the Fly Over States you may as well be high and sitting next to someone funny.
