Philadelphia !!!
He's the painter ! The selection of songs producing a painting live on Stage !
What a fantastic Tour ! In years I will remember a Lot of Moments and will be angry with myself that I didn't see more shows of it.
See you in London Hyde Park with the horse, painter !
Does anyone know the words to Poem Neil recited last night?
Did anyone record either one of the Chicago shows or the last Dallas show? Would love to hear Cortez! He played it three times but not a trace of it to be found. Would love to hear his Chicago poem too. Did he finish it like he said?
Please bring Crazy Horse back to the States! Pretty please?!
Some really great stuff from Lukas Nelson on Neil's show in Chicago.

I got the Mon 4/21 show on my smartphone. Not great sound, but not the worst either. I'll put it on dimeadozen this coming weekend.
The show really was amazing. Such a powerful collection of songs performed in an intensely present way. If there was one thing I could recommend to Neil, in keeping with his pursuit of the highest fidelity sound - the harmonica rack microphones aren't capturing his voice as good as a proper full sized mic. If possible, consider going with the full mic on the stand. Sounded a little off axis maybe, perhaps aiming the mics toward his mouth would help get that last 5%.
But man, Cortez the Killer was absolutely mesmerizing. Great Great show, no place I'd rather be!
Monday 4/21/2014 Chicago Theatre - Opening of Second Set -
"You look like a good group, you really do. Now, there's a special thing we have for you tonight. See, you're the only ones who are gonna get this, OK? This is a special part of our show that we only do on rare evenings. Its a Beatnik Love Poetry Moment.
Hello From Chicago
When the Blues moved North,
To Chicago they came.
And I caught some myself,
In this alley in rain,
Close to the 'L'
With it's clattering train,
Near the old ornate theatre
Where I soon will be playing.
So I said 'hello' for you.
And I saw a stylish tall girl
Walking by on the sidewalk,
With her hair in a swirl,
From the wind that was growing
At the end of the day.
And I wondered,
What would be coming my way?"
Thanks Kimball! Still no Cortez to be found. I'll be watching for your show on dime.
Kimbals poem was only half the poem. He did the full poem Tuesday. Anyone have that?
My 4/21 show is now on dime. Turned out pretty good I'd say.
Hopefully someone puts up a 4/22.
I can't get over how good "Someday" sounds solo on piano. So much better than the studio version. I was at the April 22nd show, and while all the songs were great, I particularly enjoyed that one. I keep watching the youtube version over and over. I hope the live solo piano version ends up on some official audio or video release someday.
Those looking for Cortez check youtube. Not my best but its up. that's from 4/22. I do have the video of him doing the full poem on Tuesday as well.
