Just returning from the Gig. Betterbetterbetter than i dreamed in my wildest dreams.
Beside the fact that i sat beneath one of those girlfriends-of-a-neil-young-fan. Why the hell must they force their girls to a gig they don't want to go ?! She was working on her smartphone for over 120 min. When neil played Heart of gold she payed attention for the first time ...
Nice set. Add in Birds and Journey Through the Past. Can't wait to see Friday's set.
Unbelievable! Better than Monday!
(Tonight the audience told the request shout-outs to Shhhh!)
Good God!!! This man is astounding. So sorry to be in Europe and away from Heaven...
I'll always consider "Helpless" a Neil Young song that CSN just happened to play on ... ;-)
I saw him a few years ago at Hammersmith Apollo and his acoustic work was staggering. It was by far the best I have ever seen in 40+ years of concert going. The man is awesome and if you get a chance to see him just go you will not be disappointed!!
Have tickets to all 4 shows. Tonight was the best so far. Neil played with much more emotion and seemed very at ease tonight and in a good talkative mood. The 2 cover songs have been absolute highlights of the shows. Beautiful songs performed with depth of feeling. Missed the pump organ tonight as he didn't play Mr. Soul. Sat behind Pegi tonight and Amber (?). That was an added treat. Looking forward to tomorrow night and perhaps some song changes like tonight. Helpless and Birds were happy surprises. The contrast between show 1 and show 3 is apparent. Neil started out a bit nervous, testy and feeling his way around. By tonight's show his confidence, enthusiasm and expressiveness were at a peak. During the encore he did get pissed at someone recording from the first row in a blatant and obnoxious manner. Took security to get the person to lower their phone. Neil went on and on about experiencing things in the moment and the human touch versus recording everything for future enjoyment and the evils of social media. Made some salient points but went on perhaps a bit too long changing the joyous mood just before the last song of the evening. Have seen Neil many times but never in such an intimate setting with great acoustics, incredible setlist, mostly well-behaved crowd and from the 5th row. An experience to be cherished forever. Hope an album is produced from these shows. Now on to tomorrow's show, sadly the last but maybe the best?
Looking forward to tonight's show with great anticipation. Can anyone tell me what time Neil starts the show and is there any opening act? Thanks !
He starts at 8pm sharp and if you're even a minute late I think they don't let you in till the third song ... no warm-up band...
What a privilege to be at Carnegie Hall last night. Neil's voice and playing were impeccable throughout.
I felt like this was a show he did only for personal reasons, we just bore witness to it. Extremely introspective and passage of time aware selection of songs.
One for the ages and a performance I never dreamed I would be lucky enough to see.
Playing now on Rust Radio
Birds, such a raw, beautiful, heartbreaker. would have loved to see/hear that. I would pay more than I ever have for tonights show. enjoy, attending crowd of questionable parentage (you bastards). oh a bitterness is creeping in ! A wicked, malevolent, green hued , writhing and spitting uncontrolled emotion.
...and after that Rust Radio has the Tuesday show, and then the Monday show. Cool Instagram from Lee, who's playing with his band tonight in Boston. Seems like maybe he saw the first show and even got together with his old friend Neil!
Great show last night. The highlight for me was 'Mellow My Mind'. Everything from the start of the show was right on.
Please, PLEASE tell me someone has recorded at least one of these shows. The setlists look incredible

All three shows are available at http://www.dimeadozen.org, the first two in multiple versions.
In this night the Neil voice was in incredible form. I hope that this concert is gonna be released.
So Tired.
