Broken Arrow Magazine: September 2013
The latest issue of Broken Arrow Magazine, published by the Neil Young Appreciation Society recently hit the streets and we're now finishing up reading the issue. As always a nice read -- especially as we look back while looking ahead.
And -- thanks to the generous support of NYAS and editor Scott Sandie -- we're pleased to be able to offer a free copy of the latest issue of Broken Arrow Magazine to a Thrasher's Wheat reader. Details follow below.
The new issue of Broken Arrow – number 31 – is now out. It includes a major article on Neil’s unreleased material since 1997, detailing in depth the unissued material from that period that has yet to appear on an official release. There is also a look back at the summer Euro tour, a Collectors Corner photo special on some dusty old 1970’s bootlegs, an insider story from ‘one who was there’ on the famous on-stage face-off between Neil and Randy California, and all the usual features including Postcard From Brighton and Letters to The Editor, etc. The editorial also reports back on the recent discussions regarding the future of the magazine, details the steps that have been taken to resolve the issues raised, and confirms that the paper magazine is set to continue into the foreseeable future.
For more information and subscription information visit the Neil Young Appreciation Society or directly contact NYAS editor Scott Sandie at surfer-joe@nyas.org.uk
Don't be denied!
Thanks Scott and everyone who is supporting the NYAS & BA!

Awesome News Thats Its Going To Continue.Thank You Scott And The Entire NYAS staf.Issue #131 Arrived Yesterday And Today Im Going To Read It,Looks Like Another Great Issue. Keep On Rockin'
I am beyond thrilled to hear that "Broken Arrow" will continue as a hard copy publication. Hats off to Scott and Jo Sandie for all their hard work. Looking forward to receiving my new issue soon.
Yes, it certainly is delightful news that the readers of BA have spoken up and been heard.
Probably should have said a little more above in the post, but we've been back and forth with Scott for some time about how to continue our little projects in this ever changing world.
What Scott really doesn't come out and say is how tough it is to keep these efforts going year over year.
Like Neil asked the other day: "How hard should I try?"
