Here's a photo and a note we received recently.
Since everyone now is looking back 50 years to civil rights, and rightly so, I thought we should also go back just 40 years.Thanks Karl! You know how time fades away.
Specifically: March 11, 1973. Here’s an image taken at Neil’s concert in Bakersfield, California, by one of the founding NEWS BROS. band members, photographer Rob Bishop. This was from the Time Fades Away series, and there are audio files of this show available on the web.
While Rob never performed publicly with the band, the long rockin’ NEWS BROS. is celebrating its 30 Year Anniversary Tour this year.
Now, if we all only looked 20 Years younger!

40 Years Ago....Sept. 23, 1973 will be the 40th Anniversary of NY opening the Roxy Theater in Hollywood, CA, too.
BTW, this Bakersfield show is available on bootleg. NY plays "Sweet Joni" for the first time.
