My mission in life is to make, "Born in Ontario" our new provincial anthem. Awesome!

I love Ontario (and I like the song). When I was younger, we used to go back and forth across the border with Minnesota, with the only difference being some signs in French and Molson came down little conveyor belts in cool box six packs and 6% alcohol. Now, we gotta go through all kinds of crap to get back-country crossing permits and my son can't go with us in a canoe because he has a stupid juvinelle offense. Not Ontario's problem or Canada's - it's the US's stupid Homeland Security rules (and Canada's reaction to them). Homeland Security is worried that terrorists will take a canoe across the boarder between Ontario and Minnesota. Have they seen this boarder?
I miss the old days when going to Ontario was like going to Wisconsin.
I wish I was born in Ontario but at least I live here now!
I haven't crossed the border post 9-11. Last time I crossed, I drove from Sudbury to Sault Ste Marie. The girl driving wanted Taco Bell. lol After four hours of driving, we approached the US border guard. The wonderful ditzy girl thought the guy said to go through. I don't know what he said? This was 3am and I was half asleep. She drives through the border and alarms went off everywhere. The guy chased the car, gun drawn. I yelled at her to stop and he lost it on her. She got the giggles and he told us to leave the country. It scared the crap out of me that night but was funny as hell the next day. If this happened today... I would be shot or in jail.
So there's only one thing that I'm not quite sure about... *where* was Neil Young born?
Seriously, fun song and cool video with some good footage. Gets better each time I hear it. Which I find things usually do.
