Bob Dylan and Neil Young Interview: 1986

A somewhat amusing interview with Bob Dylan from Entertainment Tonight on 4-1-86.
The video details are unsourced, however, on March 31, Bob Dylan received the ASCAP Founder's Award at Chasen's Restaurant in Los Angeles, CA. This most likely is the event. (Thanks Scott!)
The next day, appropriately April 1, Dylan contributed a vocal for a rap song recorded by Kurtis Blow in NYC.
Neil Young is more or less just hanging out while Bob handles the interviewer's inane questions. At one point, Bob -- apparently for goofs -- hands off the question to Neil, who naturally gives one of his typically penetratingly insightful comments.
More on that tangled up musical relationship of Bob Dylan and Neil Young.

I gave him my heart, but he wanted my soul, don't think twice, it's alright.
And may you (both) stay Forever Young
Just classic :)
That's great. Never seen this. Wish interview had been done with a bit of a wider shot. Can see, though, Neil's grin and happy face.
Long may you both run you sparkling diamonds.
Why is it that this interviewer is granted such a rare opportunity to interview Bob Dylan with Neil Young at his side and he has to waste it on some ignorant, generic questions that gave the viewer absolutely no insight whatsoever? On the other hand, I myself would have probably forgot my name and just stood there frozen. I can't even imagine what would happen if I were to meet Neil face to face. I'm sure I'd just go numb and then remember all of the things I should have asked him after the fact. I suppose thats why I'm content in being a professional viewer and listener ...
