Smoke Fairies' cover of Neil Young's 'Alabama' for this month's Mojo magazine.
To commemorate their UK tour they are including the song on a tour-exclusive 7-inch alongside the radio-edit version of new single Strange Moon Rising.
A very limited edition of the record have been pressed on white vinyl. Initially only available on tour dates any stocks left will be added to the band's web-shop next month. The 7" will also slip inside the outer sleeve of the ‘Strange Moon Rising’ 7" single alongside the other record released 24th January.

This is one of several interesting covers on the MOJO disc -- another is Chip Taylor's version of "Words."
Unfortunately, the tracking on the disc is poor -- for example, the first note of "Words" is actually part of the prior track, and several of the tracks run together.
Done on purpose to discourage making audio files?
I like most of the cover versions on this Harvest revisited disc. Maybe Words and Out on the Weekend the most. The project is more consistent than other cover albums, much because it concentrates on one album. What is funny and a good thing is that I can listen to the whole album without thinking too much that this is original a Neil Young album. A good thing that indicates that the songs will live on long after Neil is not able to perform than anymore...
