Yeah man. Like totally innovative and totally revolutionary. Is there ever a time when you're not a complete sycophant toward Neil Young? Just wondering.
i`m willing to bet that Thrasher`s comments were said a bit tongue-in-cheek.
atleast i hope.
anyway, let`s not forget that Neil`s tour starts today!
he`ll be playing in St. John`s, Newfoundland tonight!! Halifax on friday, and st. john, NB on saturday, which is where i`ll be seeing him!!
can`t wait to see what the setlist`ll be like...i hope he doesn`t pull off a Living With War and play almost exclusively Fork In The Road material
either way, gonna be a great show!!

These videos were "innovative" before all of them showed Neil driving Linc-Volt. Thrasher, these videos are now Repetitive.
- Jessie James
These videos are Neil's best since This Note's For You!
Thrasher, you rule!
But, alas, BRING ON THE ARCHIVES!

Auteur theory:fr.
a theory in motion-picture critism that views the director as the primary creative force in a motion picture.
Now THAT is
innovative and totally revolutionary !
I always like that one Anon person who shows up here on Thrashers every now and then...always makes sue to get the word "sycophant" in the comment.
Clearly this person is very proud of the big word that somebody taught them and likes to throw it around. :-)
Well, I do like the new video. It's not the same as the previous ones.
What will Neil play tonight?
It's setlist time again.
The innovative part of this new series of videos is that they are kinda anti-music videos.
Of course they are repetitive.....it's a series.....they are bound by a common theme and style.
The days of fancy expensive music videos are in the past. Who wants the type of crap that was on MTV, clips that wrap a song inside some weakly scripted story line? Those old style videos lead the viewers mind down a specific path of interpretation, deciding for you what the song is about.
If I get what is going on here, these new Neil videos are a reaction to all the crappy looking homemade videos on YouTube and elsewhere. Anyone can make a video and put it on the Web these days.
Why can't Neil be allowed the creative freedom to do the same?
Another New Neil album showing up?
Today is FITR day
In a couple of weeks we get a Patato Hole.
Next is the Archives Vol.1
And what about this one....?
Could it be true?
"Billboard.com also reports that Beach Boy Al Jardine's new album Post Card From California will feature Neil Young, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, Steve Miller, and Brian Wilson."
Maybe the Beach Boys got you now.

Yes, it looks real.
Stills and Crosby on the album too.
Thrasher,
First they ignore you.
Then they laugh at you.
Then they fight you.
Then you win.

sorry didnt know where to post this but i just saw an ad in rolling stone magazine saying neil youngs fork in the the road coming soon on BLU_RAY!!!!
Neil Young has THE WORST FANS!!! PEOPLE WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE! The 60's and 70's ARE OVER! Dead! Long GONE and NEVER EVER to return...Not EVER no matter how many Woodstocks these idiots put on! And they are certinly Not going to come back Via Neil Young.....Neil, I'm sure is glad that period is over...he was miserable then...and while all that wallowing, loneliness and self pity makes for great song writing- it doesnt make for a happy person. FITR is the happiest thing Neil has ever done. and I think Neil is happy for it. While you may want another "Don't Let it Bring You Down" Neil doesnt....Face it he's not the miserable guy he once was...if he was he would write another TFA but if he did you'd would complain he's repeating himself. Neil is 63, married, rich, fat and happy. Be happy he's still as awesome as he is...the guy has a work ethic like no other...and they can not ALL be MASTERPIECES...they just cant. Fork In the Road is an album of good song, it rocks. Take it on your next drive down the highway on a nice day with the top down....I think you'll like it more then. It's another painting on the wall. Not his best...not his worst and there will be more coming...I can only hope. Love ya Neil!
You can call me a sycophant if ya want, but this is my favorite album since Greendale..... It rocks, and is great on the car stereo. I'm a delivery guy (2 jobs, day and night)and an album this good to drive to comes around rarely.... More like this and the hell with the Archives!
