Chrome Dreams II: Lyrics and Liner Notes

Here are the lyrics and liner notes for Chrome Dreams II. Note the credits for "Ordinary People". This is a 1988 version. More thoughts to come.

"I’ve heard “Chrome Dreams II” now, and I’m broadly struggling to see its connection to the first mythical set. In some ways, it’s a kind of reverse: if “Chrome Dreams” was a collection of great Neil songs that were subsequently dispersed across various disparate albums, “Chrome Dreams II” in part seems to be a collection of disparate, mainly great Neil songs that have been gathered together, somewhat belatedly."

And I'm kinda disappointed that Neil didn't rerecord this. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's finally on record... it's just that we would've gotten this version with the archives anyway. I would've rather had a new version now, and the '88 version later on.
