Jerry Lee Lewis & Neil Young on David Letterman
Jerry Lee Lewis and Neil Young performed together on the David Letterman Show on October 4.
They perfomed the song "You Don't Have To Go" from the new Jerry Lee Lewis album Last Man Standing .
Listen to a clip of the song on the CD here (click on Last Man Standing and select song #5).
Also, here's Rustie Karen's gushing eyewitness account.
But not all were impressed by Jerry lee and Neil rockin' out. Over on The Phantom Blog, the question "Neil Young: Eternal Hipster, or Doddering old guy?" is posed.
And some other interesting Neil Young jam sessions.

thanks again for another great clip.... I enjoyed Karen's post as well.... sounds like a great night....
Jerry Lee was great after all these yrs.
I've seen him a number of yrs ago and he was extremely short and lacked any energy whatsoever; however, apparently the next section he played that night he performed great. Neil I've seen him 3 times over a 20 yr period great 2 out of 3 times. Neil, a legend in his own right, on Letterman was NOT standing. I'm sure he is honored to play with the killer.
First OF THE KILLER Jerry Lee Lewis is a rock and roll legend and DEMANDS RESPECT he rocks better than any modern rock star PERIOD he is the KILLER no filler. Im 21 and I Think Jerry Lee Can still go heres hoping i will get the chance to see him live in Perth Australia one day.
In regards AGE DOES NOT MATTER FACT Jerry Lee plays his heart out every single night.
