Farm Aid was not in Philadelphia. It was in Camden, New Jersey.
watched the webcast last night and as usual Neil was great. what a great set of songs. THANKS NEIL!!
Note to Mike C.
Why can't Neil play any political songs? Farm Aid, in its nature, is a political event of sorts. The event is a political statement, in my opinion.
Edith and Earl sang just fine at Farm Aid 06- Brilliant set! A little of this and a little of that!
Mike C - you can't have it both ways bud. Just about everything Neil writes has at least subtle tones and opinions of everything that shapes his beautiful soul and his mind. Relax it's all good and in the big picture around Living with War, it may not be brilliant political commentary, but he's right. He is also "Willing to stay and Pay - USA USA - so his sweet wife can dance another free day USA USA......God Bless Neil, God Bless Mike C and God Bless America!!!!!
I love when Neil gets out his shovel and digs out that old stuff that many people don't know. I was so happy when he played the stuff off of Comes a Time. No one around me knew the music, even though they claimed to be heavy duty Neil fans. I felt like Neil was playing the stuff just for me. Shivers were going down my spine. So emotional.
Mike C:
I am so glad Neil did not pay any mind to your advice. Every song in the Farm Aid set, aside from Harvest Moon, was political in its own way. DON'T NEED NO STINKING WAR! Get yourself to a Lee Greenwood concert ASAP and leave Shakey for his real fans.
Neil's on Letterman tonight with Jerry Lee Lewis, as a heads up to everyone.
Hi to all Neil fans.I watched Neil last nite on Letterman.I hate corperate sponsorship more than ever now!So many adds that it cut into the viewing time. But, I must say that It was still worth it just to see him haveing a good time, and to see that sweet ol HIPPY SMILE!We love ya neil Keep on rockin in the free world
Was anybody else disappointed with the performance on Letterman last night? I love Neil, but I was expecting a little more!
