Seasons Greetings!
It looks like Clyde Coil is back with a holiday message to all of his train buddies. It seems that Clyde Coil is really another of Neil Young's alternate identities that he uses in the model train world. Last we caught up with Clyde Coil, it was Shakey Pictures Strikes Again! reporting on the "It's A Fake" episode #1.
You can see the holiday video from Clyde ...err Neil ... at COILPIX (select "Merry Christmas" link).
There is also a series of promo train videos (select "Episode" links). Very cool technology here. More details on HiRail Times Newspaper.
Supposedly, the films were made at Neil's train barn using his extensive train setup. The series deals with The Legacy, The Prophecy and The System. There's definitely more to the picture than meets the eye.
More on Neil Young's Train Barn, train collection and layout.
Thanks Lou for the links!
Also, many thanks to all of the contributors and supporters of Thrasher's Wheat over the past year. Especially, e2f, Bill L., Joann (RS), Jef, Surfer Joe, NYAS, Rust, Karen S., Roel, Rainer, & Thrashette. But most of all, thanks Neil for providing us with the soundtrack of our lives!

Bit off topic. Ed the Sock from Much Music in Canada had is annual Fromage awards on tonight for the worst videos of 2005. At one point in the countdown, Green Day's, When September's Gone, (I think it's called that - the video has a bad story line about a boy and girl that have to face seperation because of the War in Iraq that he goes to fight as a US soldier, "It goes from Dawson's Creek to Jarhead," Ed the Sock said.)
"Where's Neil Young when you need him?" Ed the Sock blurted after explaining how afwul the video is.
He explaination is the video only shows the war but only cuts back to people at home worrying and not sending a clear message about the war and not showing casualities and I guess just glorification.
