It took them quite some effort to avoid the largest country (by population) with the largest number of European Neil Young fans and also to make sure that nobody from there who needs to earn his money will be able to attend because the closest venues beyond the borders of aforementioned country will be played on weekdays. Pretty convincing job at Lookout. With the distances to be covered I can't see how any further dates could be added. So I'll have to sit that one out.
Well that's a bummer Dionys.
You really think Germany omission was intentional? Not just logistics challenges?
i was longing to see Neil and now I know it becomes "Real" 😍
No, not intentional, a mere expression of my disappointment, after checking out Locarno and Nancy being the closest from my private no-fly-zone in Munich.
Having read the Scotzman's rant about his latest Dylan "Shine a Light" - experience there are maybe things which are worse. I hope that everyone who felt left out during the last NY & CH round will have enjoyable shows. Lucca would have been my favourite concert stop, it's such a beautiful town.
Ja, Dionys, not intentional, but this summer they had three shows in Germany well spread across the country (east, west and south), that they might think to cover different areas in Europe next year. I think I‘ll make it to Nancy, which is only 220 km from my home near the French border, even possible on that date on a Wednesday.
Just glad Neil is so fit and still touring 🎶🎸
