Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts: Europe Summer 2025 Concert Tour Planning Underway
It appears that a Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts Europe Summer 2025 concert tour is in the works.
Per a "Message From Neil" posted on Neil Young Archives - Nov. 15, 2024, a tour plan that has already been submitted will be revised again. Instead of touring indoor halls and theaters, Neil Young only wants to perform in open-air arenas. (Thanks RoadDawg Mike!)
"Indoor concerts could be too risky for health reasons and we don't want to have to cancel any concerts next summer for health reasons."
Neil Young first performed with the "Chrome Hearts" at Farm Aid in September and played two indoor concerts in the Capitol Theater in Port Chester, New York.
Additional Chrome Hearts concerts never were scheduled despite a tour announcement.
Neil Young only played two concerts with the "Chrome Hearts" in Port Chester, marking the "beginning of a new era". The band consists of Micah Nelson (guitar), Corey McCormick (bass), Anthony Logerfreo (drums) and Spooner Oldham (keyboards).

Looking forward to find out the details of this. Fingers crossed for a Scottish date.
Two cracking outdoor venues in Yorkshire; Piece Hall, Halifax and Scarborough. fingers crossed.
Answering a letter Neil Young announces this to be a summer tour, exclusively in outdoor venues. Supposedly this will start in May as the earliest time for outdoor events in more southernly regions (Italy, Southern France, Spain) before reaching central Europe (Benelux countries, Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The UK and Scandinavia will be last, in July? Occasionally there have been tours during which there was a second coming to central Europe in August though.
Hopefully stand alone concerts and not part of the summer festivals. But whatever happens I'll try and get to something.
Glad to see this. It sounds like a good lineup, too. I’ll keep an eye out for specifics. I suggest we all take a leaf out of Neil’s book, insofar as staying active as you can and continuing to do what you love—things that renew your vitality.
I’ve been thinking recently about Peace Trail, the album which came out right after the 2016 election. The songs were (are) timely and helped make sense of that period. When Neil Young sings, I remember I’m not losing my grasp on reality. Good art is both an anchor and a lifejacket.
Before I die, please let me sit in his audience just once, Universe. Once will be enough. Let us both live long enough.
In many respects I see „Peace Trail as an addendum to its predecessors:
“Peace Trail”, “Can’t Stop Workin’”, “Glass Accident” are afterthoughts to biographical events that led up to “Storytone” and the emergence of a new configuration of personal relationships and circumstances.
“Indian Givers”, “John Oaks” and “My Pledge” (remember the Green family tree?) expand “Greendale”, as they complement the characters and the activities of Grandpa and his granddaughter Sun. On my mental map “My New Robot” finds its place between “Trans” tracks and “Piece of Crap”.
And "Texas Rangers" and "Terrorist Suicide Hanggliders" fit in with some thoughts on "Living With War".
Neil's original reply mentioned talking to Glastonbury as a possible venue, but given how difficult it is to get tickets for that one I do hope for some more accessible sites. Let's just do happy that it's being planned at all.

If the Ukraine conflict expands, it will be like 1991 again with the Gulf war, I would seriously doubt NY would head to Europe.
Looks like Chrome Hearts just finished recording according to Facebook. Big bunch of people involved...
Where on Facebook did you see that?
