Unfortunately there was no option to select "I do not care as long as there is a Neil Young tour". Although my limited European concert experience includes Neil Young solo, the Trans Band, Crazy Horse, Crazy Dogs/Lost Horse (with Rick Rosas replacing Billy Talbot), the Continental and Electric Band and POTR, I have to admit that all of these bands were remarkable in their own right in supporting Neil Young. Unlike other major acts, however, Neil Young never left them to play for themselves for a while and taking a break for himself. Quite the opposite: some of these concerts had their own solo section and I liked it. So that would be something new: The Horse playing a song or two without Neil. With Nils playing second guitar, they couid have pulled it of, "Nils sings Neil" style.
On NYA today in answer to a query:
'Wait 'til you hear the next Crazy Horse album coming in April. I think it will make you happy. It really makes me feel good to hear the Horse in full swing and on into a gallop.'
So a bit different to World Record (I hope).
@ Dionys - funny you would mention.
when we used to do our TW polls we would usually toss in a non-nonsensical option like "its all one song"
maybe we'll have to return to form. folks might think we're serious here or something...
@ Julia - thanks for update. Definitely will be different than World Record.
And thanks for being here!
Crazy Horse, Promise of the Real, Hell Yes, Shell No!

There's a new feature on the member page of NYA where you can introduce and identify yourselves. Although I am not exactly a fan of generously distributing my personal data on the internet I do make exceptions for things Neil Young. However, the usual contact via the website itself currently does not work with my regular German e-mail address. Any Europeans experiencing this as well?
I don't get the venue choices. Neil said that he sold his catalog so he could do anything he wants. He touring for the first time in years and choose amphitheatres? He doesn't like the sound in large venues like that - what gives?
