What's So Funny About

The big surprise was Bob Dylan showing up, electric guitar in hand, to play a set with Tom Petty's Heartbreakers. They did "Maggie's Farm", "Positively 4th St.", and a fantastic "Ballad of a Thin Man".
Not sure when Dylan played electric guitar on stage, but it's been awhile. He was even soloing pretty decently, seemed like he wanted to stretch out the songs, but the band kept things at a television friendly pace. Still a real fun surprise.
Unfortunately, no life altering Neil/Bob interaction, at least on stage.
Just getting back from FA. Look for a FA report sometime later this week.
short story ...
Neil's 4 song mini set:
"Comes A Time", "Are There Any More Real Cowboys?", "Love Earth" "Heart Of Gold"
Bob Dylan & The Heartbreakers's 3 song mini set: "Maggie's Farm", "Positively 4th Street" "Ballad of a Thin Man".
Lots to report on our best FA ever ... and we've been to a few going back to our 1st in 1999.
