Howdy folks! Thanks for holding down the fort throughout this time of global concern with nationalist aggression. Things are relatively subdued at NYA as we wait for the next archive release announcement. Whether or not the music in question applies to events at hand, we can always count on Neil Young’s work to provide us with interesting perspectives through which to filter our understanding of happenings at home and around the world. Reprise Records’ Neil Young Facebook page has a new banner up with a photo of the man in his ‘88 Shakey Deal getup accompanied by text that reads “NEIL YOUNG OFFICIAL RELEASE SERIES 13,14, 20, & 21 PRE-ORDER NOW • NEILYOUNGARCHIVES.COM
Does this mean the Eldorado EP is finally seeing reissue? It’s not up in the Greedy Hand Store yet, but they do have vinyl copies of Hawks & Doves, Re•Ac•Tor, and This Note’s For You available for purchase.
And there it is. The box set of those four records is available for preorder. No sign of an individual release of Eldorado, but Cocaine Eyes is now available for play on NYA! Soon I can stop scouring the used CD bins…
