THIS WEEKEND: Neil Young Solo Concert - London 2008 | Hearse Theater | NYA
This weekend, Neil Young solo in concert at Hammersmith Odeon Theater (aka the Carling Apollo), London in 2008 will be showing in the Hearse Theater on NYA. (See full Hearse Theater Schedule.)
The concert film is directed by Tim Pope and the acoustic set premiered in September 2019. Recorded during the final 2 nights (of a 6 gig run) in London, England, in March 2008, the multi-camera film is stunningly intimate and features the "mic cam" for ultra close-ups. Watching it while at bed with pre winter flu.. way better than any sort of Pills :-)
A terrific solo set with Neil in good good spirit and some short stories to tell and a strong electric set with some old friend gone too soon
This should be the whole concert and it's worth three years of subscription by itself.
Thanks Neil
Oh and Haring Bring you down and Cowgirl back to back is always magic
easily my favorite tour era of the past 15 years and I've loved them all!
Does the stream work with SoundTap Streaming Audio Recorder?
As usual, I will email you this post since Big Brother won't let me most on your site. Too Far Gone with the full band with Ben Keith on the pedal steel, or was that pedal-less steel? Amazing! Oh Lonesome Me!. Here I sit as I type this, in my extra 1 bedroom rental house. Ya. paying 2 rents in Seattle sucks!
TW, my favorite site on the Internet, a long running inspiration, sure to lift me up with new Neil information. I'm a believer.
Keep it up, please. If your blog ended, my life would take a turn for the worse. Its funny low I take things for granted.
Again, thank you!
This one I tried to post directly onto your page as well as emailing it to you.

Ragged Glory, Extended Version with extra songs has been added to what is in The Can up at NYA.
So. . .it has appeared in time to be voted for.

@ Alan - very good, glad to see this finally worked again for your comments.
so what might you have done differently if anything? we think this has something to do with your login and validate sequence. As in going directly to try and comment vs a cold start/bootup, login and comment. if that makes any sense.
@ Ken - good deal, thanks. More Horse from the Barn ... and Can!
I watched London three times this weekend...what a show & what a tour that was!
I’d seen this show a few months earlier from the front row in DC at Constitutional Hall...a night I’ll never forget.
That was the last tour I believe with Larry Craig, LA Johnson, and Ben Keith.
Sad to watch the show and think of so many of Neil’s friends and band mates now gone.
@ Alan in Seattle: When I post here from my iPhone I have to scroll down and click on “view web page” and then write my post. Hope that helps.
Peace
That’s “View Web Version “.
Thanks Dan. That's helpful to know. If anyone else has tips and tricks for blog comments, much appreciated.
Also, pls state platform: iphone, android, web browser (chrome, firefox, etc)

@ Jonathan - yes, right. and we believe that we were at the same Constitution Hall shows as well, both nights. Although not front row, a bit back a few rows.
