Neil Young Announces That Archives Will Host "Bootleg Albums"

Album Of The Week: "Neil Young"
"The album was the culmination of all my dreams of becoming a solo artist”

As the surreal world becomes ever more surreal, Neil Young has announced that the Archives will eventually be hosting "Bootleg Albums".
Nope, not another cruel April Fools joke. (Folks may recall what happens when Neil Young goes shopping for bootleg records back in 1971. Hint: hilarity ensues.)
While Bob Dylan unarguably holds the lead in the "official bootleg releases" category, Neil's latest move demonstrates that The Joker and The Thief remain in neck and neck in the friendly competition for singer-songwriter of the century.
In a message by Neil Young on Times-Contrarian | Neil Young Archives, he writes that "NYA will be presenting one of my albums every week! I will share the story behind each album in our new column ‘ALBUM OF THE WEEK’ on page 5 of the Contrarian, starting this week. This means I will be writing the story behind these albums regularly."
The first ALBUM OF THE WEEK is -- fittingly -- Neil Young's first solo album, Neil Young, produced in 1968, over 51 years ago.
And it's getting better all the time...
