Teho Teardo and Blixa Bargeld cover Neil Young's 'My My, Hey Hey' on new EP Fall
The above video has gone totally viral on the internet over the last 24 hours since posted.
OK, that was completely fake news. See how easy that was?
On the other hand, it is true in that -- here on Thrasher's Wheat at least -- this is the most clicked link on the website. Which is usually always true on any fresh wheat.
So use disCERNment ... as always.
So a rather intriguing cover of Neil Young's 'My My, Hey Hey' by Teho Teardo and Blixa Bargeld (via The Quietus.com, thanks Hounds That Howell!)
Frequent collaborators Teho Teardo and Blixa Bargeld have returned with a new EP, Fall.
As with most Neil Young covers, this can be an acquired taste, especially for those fond of heavy metal orchestral maneuvers in the dark.
The arrangement features a musical saw, bass clarinet and a six-piece string section.
Can you handle this cranked up to 11? We think not...

This is great!
Then again, my other favourite artist/group in the world is Einstürzende Neubauten (Blixa's main band) so it's not surprising I'd love this.
