Twilight was for me the saving grace from the original album. This version is almost identical. So why buy this when I couldn't stand TNFY.Horns(Chicago like)and NY just don't mix. Thank goodness when I went see him at the Saenger in New Orleans in '89 he had dropped the horns and gave an incredible show.
Does anyone know the track listing for the original version of Bluenote Cafe that would have come out in 1988-1989?
And also does anyone know if the version of Crime In The City on this release would have been the version on the unreleased Times Square album rather than the acoustic version?
Looking forward to this album, hopefully we'll see more releases like this more frequently.
Crime In The City from Times Square is the same recording of the take released on Freedom.
So Tired.
