What's So Funny About

2 Comments:
Nice to hear Meryl talk about Rick Rosas. I saw an ad this morning for the film, and it was wonderful to see Rick included in the clip. Definitely plan on seeing this one in a theater.
Funny when Jimmy Fallon asks her "Do you sing?" Someone should send Jimmy a DVD or Blue Ray of Prairie Home Companion--the duets with Lilly Tomlin are great, along with the ensemble singing (including Lindsay Lohan!).
And speaking of "funny", yesterday's Morning Joe had a long interview via phone with (who else) Donald Trump. At the conclusion, they soundtrack the piece with a segment of Rocking In The Free World that went into the commercial fade-out. Not sure if Neil knows about this (probably) or how cool he is with it; obviously there was some kind of snarky connection going on. Interesting to see if there's any reaction.
So please do keep on rocking in the Free World, enjoy the last real Daily Show tonight, and also the Debates--especially if you're playing the Official GOP Debate Drinking Game (see Matt Taibbi's piece in Rolling Stone).

Your comments often have so many nuggets we don't know where to start?!
So we'll just say that we're looking forward to Rick's last waltz with Meryl & The Flash.
Too late, too soon.
