VIDEO: "Walk On" - Neil Young with The Nelson Brothers, April 16, 2015
SLO Brewing Co., San Luis Obispo, CA - April 16, 2015
This summer, Neil Young will be on The Rebel Content Tour with Lukas and Micah Nelson and their band Promise of the Real.
The band name Promise of the Real is from Neil Young's 1974 song "Walk On" with the lyrics, "Some get stoned, some get strange, but sooner or later it all gets real". From Rolling Stone Lukas Nelson interview Behind the Scenes of Neil Young's New Protest Album 'The Monsanto Years' by Andy Greene:
"We listened to Neil Young every day when we started the band," says Lukas. "And 'Walk On' has always been one of my favorite songs."
And if that's not enough Neil influence on walking, here's "Walk With Me" (Feat. Neil Young) from Pearl Jam: The Kids Are Twenty live at The Bridge School concert in 2010.
More discussion on walking tonight on Thrasher's Wheat Radio on Wbkm Dot Org, at 9:00PM ET.
Don't be denied!
