Sunday night (Nov 25) will be the 36th anniversary of The Last Waltz, which might have Neil doin' some remembering. I watched this video and then the version with The Band; sure doesn't seem that long ago to me but I know it was! Maybe it's just being home for Neil and maybe it's a little of both, but whatever it's a killer version.
And I know what film I'll be watching come Sunday.
I was hoping to hear Roll Another Number, and when Neil first started singing Helpless I was disappointed... but not as it went on! Really a great twist to a classic.
How I the general admission process working. I will be at the Boston show but can't get there until 4:00 at the latest. Am I screwed with no chance of getting up front? I guess I could slip outta work a little early...
