"We are the most intelligent beings on the planet -- according to us."
From a comment by Deborah Y:
You can realize what it meant to me ...
I just missed having at least another Rustie friend right there beside me to share such a priceless moment, because no one here in my city wanted to go with me,just because NEIL didn't come for one of his unique shows ...
of course I wanted to see him on stage again too, but being part of that SWU audience in my own country, listening to every single word he said about the theme was a unique experience ... tell you what, I took a 4- hour trip to get there, arrived at the theater at 6 am ( the forum started at 10.30 !) ...
but I would do it over & over again ! I do hope all those children & young people who were there too have understood his awesome lecture on helping our planet and learned something from HIM !
Thanks for your nice words!
Peace, always!

Beautiful comment Deborah and how disappointing that your friends didn`t see the point of joining you for this unique opportunity. Hearing Neil talking about something he feels so passionately about must have been a very uplifting experience for you.
As the great man himself said “just singing a song won`t change the world”. He has so much to give and just keeps on giving…
Peace to you!
Thanks both Deborah & Jill.
Peace to both of you.
keep giving the love.

Thanks for the post,Thrasher & thanks for your nice words,Jill!
"Just singing a song won't change the world",I also do agree with that. That's why I had to be right there, not to see my favorite artist on stage, but to attend a realistic & awesome lecture by a human being who also showed me "The Bridge School" ,"Farm Aid" ... a human being who came to a small town in South America on his bday to share his feelings towards our planet!
Does Neil eat meat? So do I,but as he honestly pointed out to the younger generations, they must understand their parents have bad habits, just like he does, their parents are somehow too old for some changes, just like he is(??) and rather than judge their parents, they should take better care of our planet, thinking about their own future children.
No, guys,I didn't even meet Neil, but I'm so happy!.I tell you what, although it was HIS bday,by sitting there and attending his 30-minute lecture I was given a real TREASURE by a real HEART OF GOLD,who once more came to my country simply to ... BE THE RAIN!
LONG MAY NEIL RUN !!!

(Look, unfortunately no one from the audience was allowed to record the whole lecture, but I do hope we can find it on vid asap!)
Peace,always!
And keep on rockin' in Neil's world!
Deborah can I just like this Big Time !
Loved your report. Neil is truely special.
I could say that this World could do with more like him, but well that would not be quite right. We are all individuals and unique, and Neil, suffice to say, is well one fine human being !
We do need to heed the message.
Decades ago whe a kid I remember scientists talking on TV shows about the ozone layer and climate change. It seemed at the time to be dismissed as remotely possible but highly unlikely.
Now it's in our face - we cannot ignore it.
