Photo of the Moment: Neil Young's Fireside Sessions #3 | NYA
The TW Photo of the Moment is "Already One" from Neil Young's Fireside Sessions #3 | NYA.
Admittedly, this image isn't quite ideal, nor do justice -- from a capture and presentation perspective here.
However, we found the concluding image of Neil Young's Fireside Sessions #3 to be so perfectly compelling that we tried to screen capture and enhance. Again, this doesn't begin to do justice to Neil and Daryl's work which was simply exquisitely breathtakingly beautiful. Shot against a setting sun, Neil silhouetted with acoustic guitar plucking out the final notes "Already One" as a fire flickers. Almost an impressionistic painting by a great master.
For us, the image really sums it all up. Along with the lyrics of "Already One", to say a fitting conclusion to the Fireside Sessions Trilogy really could not be any better.
"But we're already one
Already one
Now only time can come between us
'Cause we're already one"
Thank you N&D!

A bit off topic here, but a friend sent me this video that contains a very intelligent and informative information that I think many here will find helpful about our current situation.

Peace 🙏
.... the word information was meant to be conversation. Sorry.
Peace 🙏
Thanks Dan. Checking now.
as we speed watch, there are just so many things that make no sense about all of this.
We have directly a number of doctors in our area directly: where is "Patient Zero"? no one seems to know or have a clue.
once someone comes back to us and proves that here is "Patient Zero", we remain highly skeptical of the ongoing circus.
don't misunderstand us that this isn't serious. but the "facts" just aren't adding up yet.
do you recall last fall when the whole vaping ban kicked up? have you looked at the death certs for those vaping victims? compared those to CV-19? any correlation w/ the ventilator treatments?
just asking, if anyone knows? for a friend, naturally.
stay safe & healthy everyone!
I found the conversation to be less about hype and more about science. I didn’t feel any overt agenda, just interesting information about what we’re dealing with.
Peace 🙏

Really enjoy and appreciate this photo. It seems to capture a certain feeling within this moment we are all in.
It's been an Easter like no other--yeah, that's an understatement. Went to virtual Mass this morning, watched Andrea Bocelli during lunch and had a wonderful afternoon dharma and meditation session on-line with Roshi Joan Halifax. Thanks to everyone involved!
But there's a time for seriousness and a time to hopefully laugh. So here's one of the funniest and probably most unique musicians around, Chandler Travis, performing Where's My Horse followed by the age old existential question Ou Est La Biblioteque...hope you enjoy.

Thanks Mr H! that was enjoyable. we sort of needed that today.
feelin a bit bruised lately, but we'll be ok
btw, what kind of dog is that w/ N&D? the big white shaggy guy?
What a sweetheart--reminds me of Chip and Robby Douglas' dog from My Three Sons! I'm thinking some kind of mix, maybe intentional (Labradoodle?) or maybe not. We had a dog way back when that Mom named Missy, looked much the same, she just showed up one day. Very gentle and kind.
Both dogs are incredible; all dogs are incredible. The other one (Yellow Lab?) has a really old soul. You can tell from the eyes. He or she reminds me of David Olney's dog, listening during the final podcast then making a perfect exit, just like David himself:

I'd love to know more about Daryl and Neil's dogs. Maybe Neil can do FS4 with just the dogs, or maybe tell stories like the one about Elvis running off in the Redwoods and coming back with the Hippy Guy in the yellow truck. That would make me very happy!
