This is a hell of a good show. Farm Aid 2019, the 34th year turned in one of the greatest Neil Young performances of all time! With 2 of Willie’s boys in Promise of the Real, from last Saturday! A great show! To me, the absolute highlight was Throw Your Hatred Down! What a great smack down on Donald Trump and his more hateful followers! My faith has once again been restored! Alan in Seattle

...Tim Pope's complete film from Hammersmith London 2008 is now streaming at NYA, this time including the electric set (the film is a composite of March 14th and March 15th).
Catch it quickly before it's gone! For those still on the fence, now might be a great time to subscribe.
(Thanks all for the videos, photos and reviews from Farm Aid and the warm-up gig).
Scotsman.
I agree, the Throw Your Hatred Down was the highlight. Neil and Old Black went deep together! I was a little bummed Mellencamp’s set was so long, as I feel that affected the allotted time for Neil’s set, which was a bit short. However, Neil and POTR threw it down as usual. That said, the Murat Theatre show on Thursday night
in Indy was absurdly fantastic! So,
overall, Neil’s brief Mid-west mini-run was very strong!

This is such a great show. It's so nice to see Ben Keith and Rick the Bass Player again.
I really enjoyed the complete Le Noise sessions. But seeing those, it really isn't an uplifting experience. I really feel a bit down after going down that road. That's okay, but that's what that album does for me.
This tour on the other hand... pure joy. Great acoustic set, and hybrid band of all the stages of Neil's career for the electric portion. I'm happy it is documented.
Looks like a rainbow of colors up there on the stage! JP
Scotsman: you’re absolutely right about the London show. What a epic performance both acoustic and electric sets were some of the best I’ve ever seen. This really deserves a Blu Ray release. Just stunning work from everyone.
All that said, it was sad that so many are no longer with us. Ben, Rick, Pegi, L.A. Johnson, Elliot Roberts. We’ve all lost some special people since 2008, and with the passing of Robert Hunter on Monday the world has lost one of the most prolific and strongest writers the world ever had.
Peace.
Family Farms supported by Willie and Family Music! Where’s his Nobel Prize for Farm Aid?!
