CONFIRMED: Neil Young Cancels Plans For 2019 Fall Concert Tour
Any hopes for a concert tour this fall by Neil Young to support his upcoming album titled COLORADO with Crazy Horse just evaporated per a posting just published on Times-Contrarian | NYA.
"NYA will be devoting the rest of this year to Shakey Pictures projects that deserve our focused attention to complete and deliver at their highest level."
The following is an incomplete list of current NYA video projects, including:
- A Rusted out Garage. [Crazy Horse’s 1987 tour]
- Greendale Live [Crazy Horse’s 2002/03 tour]
- Alchemy [Crazy Horse’s 2012/13/14 tour]
- Catalyst [This is a club in Santa Cruz, California Young has played many times between 1975 and 1997. It’s unclear which shows are a part of this film.]
- Tokyo Budokan 76 [A 1976 show in Japan with Crazy Horse]
- London Odeon Hammersmith 76 [A 1976 show in London with Crazy Horse]
- Solo Trans [Young’s one-man show supporting Trans in 1983]

Well that’s a bummer.. glad I grabbed farm aid tix.
Anyone have any idea where to get tix for the Harvest Moon gig? Can’t even find resale.
yep. sold out. you waited too long. Keep checking stubhub tho. who knows something may turn up? We already know Think of Me and She Showed Me Love. This year is flying by. Pretty soon its fall and Halloween and onto holidays. Will hope for a NYCH tour in 2020.
Very disappointing news. But I suppose we can't have everything and time is running out. I would hope to see Neil in any form one more time.
I would also add LincVolt Years to your list. A lot to look forward to!
Not disappointed, I look forward to the releases listed.
Where is homegrown, oceanside countryside and chrome dreams?
It's a list of video projects in the works, those three are all audio-only.
I saw NY&POTR in Kilkenny Ireland, and then watched the concert again on NYA. What a great world we live in!
Don't think he was making tne southeast anyway.
Will he still be at farm aid in September?
Bit worrying for the prospect of NYCH tour coming to Europe, would probably have to be in the first five months of 2020 as Nils will probably be out with The Boss & The E Street Band who are supposed to be touring next year. Usually they tour Europe from late May into July then head back to the U.S.A. for more dates from August onwards.
Bummer...I was hoping to catch Neil & CH around the USA in the fall. Autumn is such a great time to travel in the USA.
Bruce has dibs on Nils...so I guess that leaves Neil's arena tour with early spring which would still be pretty nice for travel.
Hope he doesn't decide to do the winter thing again...but...then again beggers can't be choosy! We take what we can get!
Peace ✌️
...Unless Neil can bring Poncho out of his comfortable retirement in Hawaii...how cool would that be...yippee!
Peace ✌️
That would be amazing. Highly unlikely, but amazing if it happens
