Neil Young has tweeted out another message from "The Visitor".
Last week, Neil tweeted a message from "The Visitor" with a short clip of a rainbow. Today, the message is:
"You fortune tellers, take my hand. see what's there. Its sifting sands"
- The Visitor
The Visitor's latest message accompanies the Official Music Video for "Powderfinger".
So what might Neil be up to with these tweets and references to the mysterious "The Visitor"?
As you may recall, "The Visitor" was referenced during a track by track commentary on his new album 'Hitchhiker' which was live streamed from a radio station in Telluride, CO. (See TRANSCRIPT: Neil Young's Track by Track Commentary on New Album 'Hitchhiker').
So who might "The Visitor" be? There are many out there with thoughts on who "The Visitor" might be and their significance.
Some have speculated "The Visitor" is the title of Neil Young's next album recorded with the band Promise of the REAL. Others think "The Visitor" refers to upcoming events, shifts or possibly "change" or "The Truth". Or "awareness" or "consciousness".
Maybe the "The Visitor" is Neil's muse returning with creative musical ideas?
Everyone has their favorite theories. As for us? Well, we had an interesting synchronicity on this recently.
About the time that "Hitchhiker" was released last month, a large sculpture was placed along our regular commute with a large white, shroud. And when it was unveiled, we did a double take.
The sculpture does not have any title or artist name, however, it is located on the plaza of a complex known as Aperture.
On first glance, we see a figure breaking through to the other side of a camera lens aperture or portal. On closer inspection, we see the figure has a digitized texture effect with blank "pixels".
Well, we gave our little time traveling visitor a little pat on the head and went about our day.
But we did find the timing of the release of "Hitchhiker", the unveiling of the Aperture's "Visitor" scuplture, and the imminent arrival of "The Visitor" to be another one of those intriguing intersections of Synchronicity and Neil Young and The Synchronicity of Thrasher's Wheat.
Still perplexed? Well consider that "The Visitor" doesn't have a Twitter account. Or Internet access. Still wondering? Then check links below.

Fortune teller - shifting sand, is this place at your command?
Birth through an aperture straight into old age and back....
Wrong place but Tom Petty RIP @ 66
Please Andy. This is unconfirmed. We have enough trouble as it is without folks jumping to all sorts of conclusions. Why not just say that we all hope he's ok and that the rumors are false?
Thoughts and prayers are what is needed now more than ever.
Everyone take a breath, please.
TW understood. It has been confirmed. Appreciate that with the current horror unfolding it wasn't that important.
Thanks Andy. yesterday was a hard day so let's make today a better day.
We've just paid our respects to Tom here @ TW. Feel free to pay tribute to another late, great.

The Powderfinger video is incredible. It made me cry. It looks just like the song feels. The Bullies are coming to mow you down. What in the Hell were we doing in Vietnam again? Making money for the War Industry after faking the Bay of Tonkin "attack." This country's mythology is built on flag waving BS that enriches the rich. But first we wiped out the Red Man here at home and built our homes upon his bones. But these past 2 years I have never been more ashamed of our Government and our modern political system. Those who are awake are cursed to watch it unfold, however closely. Trump has, in a sense, opened a window into Hell.
Thanks for the best content on the internet, Thrasher. I so appreciate you doing what you do. I am pretty busy and I don't comment always but I check it daily most of the time. I love your creativity and enthusiasm, and your "living archive" of the eminently talented Neil Young. Alan in Seattle. PS- I am sad about Tom Petty but the Vegas massacre caused me so much anguish that I didn't have much left that day for Petty, an artist I have loved and followed for decades. I saw him 3 x and he was great. I didn't get pulled into his orbit quit as hard as I did to NY, of course, but I do own Petty's entire catalogue encluding rarities box sets and live recordings, unlicensed or official product. He has a great Blu ray I recommend. He has gone on to the Great Gig in the Sky. I hope to see him there with Jimi and the rest. Thank you Tom Petty for the fantastic music you gave to us.
