Mariposa’s Young Singer/Songwriter Workshops
From Mariposa Folk Festival:
One of the Directors of the Mariposa Folk Foundation Board is Journalist/broadcaster, Larry LeBlanc, a prominent figure in Canadian music for four decades, and widely considered one of the leading music journalists in the world. He’s the brains behind Mariposa’s Young Singer/Songwriter workshops, the next edition of which is taking place Monday, October 2nd, with guest musician, Serena Ryder. Details at http://www.mariposafolk.com/the-foundation/workshops/.
Anyways, on Monday, at a cottage in the Kawartha’s, Larry conducted an interview the iconic singer-songwriter, musician, producer, director and screenwriter, Neil Young, for an upcoming project. What’s the project you ask? It’s a feature length documentary on Randy Bachman produced by Farpoint Films and Paquin Entertainment. It will air on various media outlets.
We thought you might enjoy this photo of Larry LeBlanc and Neil Young ‘yucking it up’ after the interview
