Kudos to Jeff Ament for his driving bass lines, and also for rocking an old school (pre 60's no name on back) #6 Bill Russell jersey. The man has great taste in all regards! And I love Eddie bringing his glove and playing some toss-and-catch with the crowd.
This might be pure coincidence, but last night (Tuesday) I saw Belly perform at The Royale in their first US show (besides Newport warmups) in over two decades. A truly great show, and Gail Greenwood (their bass player, who must look 20 years younger than she is) was sporting a #5 Kevin Garnett jersey for the entire two sets plus encore. If there's a show in Boston tomorrow night and the bass player has an Isaiah Thomas Jr #4 jersey on, then you'll know we have hit the rock and roll hat trick! And of course, a Bobby Orr #4 jersey will do just fine.
