Belfast, June 7 Concert: Neil Young + Promise of the Real
A 3 hour set (so tight, no chit chat) & it just didn't lag at all. Someone tells me that Down by the River lasted 25min! #NeilYoung

Neil young was amazing. Support by Laura Marling also gd. But For a man his age to play 3 hours. Phenomenal.

Never seen him before - a mesmeric performance. From After the Goldrush opener thru the three hours that followed - Neil Young was superb.

That gig from Neil Young and Promise of the Real was something else. Over three hours long and the set list was just stacked with greatness.

Impressive: Neil Young just played for 3 hours without a break or even a sip of water. Class act. Puts pop artists today to shame.

Phenomenal three hour set, with Neil in blistering form. In no particular order, Mr Soul, Love and Only Love, DBTR, Words, Alabama, Walk On, Vampire Blues, Roll Another Number, Mansion, Hank to Hendrix, Harvest Moon, Out on the Weekend, HoG, ATGR, Needle and loads more. Neil's first ever Belfast gig, and he really made his mark.

Unbelievable show in Belfast. Glasgow was amazing but this was off the scale.
Nice mix of songs, throwing in a lot of changes from Sunday.
The pacing felt better and in my opinion the momentum was greatly improved in the 2nd half of the show.
The band were outstanding and I love how they watch Neil during the longer workouts to see what direction he's going to take it next.
Every single person on stage seemed to be loving it, constant grins and singing along, with or without microphones. 3 hours of pure joy.
There will likely be even better shows as the tour progresses but right now this will be hard to top.

Feeling the buzz for Dublin tonight after reading all those tweets above. Kind of sorry I didn't book a ticket for Belfast too.
I was thinking this might be the last European tour. Now I suspect Neil is only just getting started!

Every performance I've heard from these two shows so far (apart from a slightly dodgy version of F*!#in' Up) has been magical.
Scotsman.
These videos from the first two nights are absolutely amazing. I thought the New Braunfels and New Orleans shows were mind blowing, but I feel like the band somehow went and raised it up another notch for Europe. Damn.
July 15th can't get here quick enough.
