Message from London. Some lights going out tonight in Europe. Listening to Earth, out today is a salve for the soul. Thanks Neil Young. We'll be forever in your debt.
Thanks Art Symbol!
Yes, we've already given EARTH a few spins ourselves and find it quite revealing and looking forward to adding to the Neil rotation.
So, BREXIT? Not sure we can read between the lines of ages on your opinion? Good for UK but bad for Euro?
nice handle, btw.

Brexit is a disaster for UK. It is racist, insular and will ruin UK. The vast bulk of people under 45 did not vote for it yet they are lumbered with the likely consequences. I am embarrassed. We have blethered on about how we are a tolerant welcoming people for years and this referendum was going nowhere until about three weeks ago somebody decided they'd bring up immigration and suddenly half the population took their cue to come out and reveal themselves to be 'little englander' racists. The result is we seem destined to be an isolated, irrelevant, overlooked nation. On the premise of concerns over immigration people have voted for something which has no plan, no objectives and nothing to offer other than keeping 'Johnny Foreigner" at bay.
Apologies - probably off message - but Mr Young was great in Glasgow, even better in Dublin and I'm looking forward to Amsterdam. Oh, the joys of being able to travel to Ireland and Holland as part of an integrated, purposeful Europe. I enjoyed it while it lasted.
Richard, Glasgow.
Another interesting set-list with Helpless and Tonight's the Night making appearances.
Not too much chatter about the Earth album, but I'll be listening over the weekend..
Take my advice
don't listen to me
amazing set. son of a bitch! would love to see that. sigh
off subject to Richard, almost as bad as being governed and decisions being made by a bunch of over paid fat cats. We've said NO to the Brussels band wagon of junkets. Just look at the reaction of Head of EU 'you can leave now'...a gravy train we've got off.
Amazing show yesterday.. my second show (also went to Lille)
Down By The River was pure magic.. and the encore!!! I saw him walking towards his piano, thought which song would he play on piano as an encore? Could it be?? and Yes it was..
Great version, Lukas lead guitar, Neil giving the rhythm with his hands from behind his piano, just like he was conducting an orchestra..
hope to find it on youtube.
@Andrew Byrom I have no problems with the Hires download of Earth.. just right click on the zip file and "extract here"..
@prez it doesn't work. I'm on a mac, when I extract the file it creates another zip file.
@Babbo - yep, last night was the night! But as we say in Neil world, every night is the night. :)
@ Richard - thanks for thoughts. Actually not too off topic given Neil's current tour of the Euro continent.
Naturally, it'll be quite fascinating if there are any stage references to the BREXIT Event.
Just all part of the Great Unraveling, The 4th Turning, & The Regeneracy. Ascension here we come!
@Andrew Byrom I had the same problem with my Mac until I downloaded an unzip app in the store. I used The Unarchiver, and it worked like a charm. Free app, and I'm sure that others do the same.
Thanks, I got round it by downloading on my work windows PC, extracting the zip file then Dropboxing to my mac. What a farce.
