Widespread Panic Releases Official Neil Young Cover Video in honor of His 70th Birthday
Via JAMBASE:
Widespread Panic have honored Neil Young's 70th birthday by unveiling video of their recent "Rockin' In The Free World" bust out featuring special guest Kevn Kinney from a Sunday show in Milwaukee.
The cover was performed at the end of the second set at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee on October 25. Widespread Panic hadn't played "Rockin' In The Free World" since April 3, 2000 - a span of 1,130 shows. Kinney sat-in on the Neil Young cover back then too as he has for all four Widespread Panic renditions of "Rockin' In The Free World." Shot & edited by Andy Tennille, mixed by Brett "The Hitman" Orrison.
nice. cool. Always delightful to see a pro-shot multi-camera video. And a soundboard mix, as well :)
Thanks Widespread Panic & JAMBASE!
Seems like Neil had a very happy birthday yesterday as well wishes streamed in from around the world... here, there and everywhere!
Sorry we weren't able to join in all of the fun on Facebook... we're still on Mr. Z's bad listing... but we will be free again someday soon. Like by 2025, maybe?!
On to 80 in 2025 for NY!
stay calm, no fear.
