"Time Fades Away" - Neil Young + Promise of the Real - Santa Barbara Bowl, CA, Oct. 10, 2015
Here's "Time Fades Away" by Neil Young + Promise of the Real at Santa Barbara Bowl, CA, on Oct. 10, 2015.
Per Sugar Mountain, Neil Young played the song 43 times on 1973 tour. Then again -- once -- 35 years later in 2008 in Germany.
And now again 2015, 14 junkies still too weak to work.
Thank you Malibu Heaven!

This MIGHT be a modern day peak for Neil Young and Promise of the Real! Truly… The Ultimate Deep Track. Those in attendance were blessed with good fortune as our Hero mines another Deep Track in a series of unexpected Nuggets and Gems. Time Fades Away, title track from the long-unreleased album, recently for sale on vinyl only. Vampire Blues on the tour?! Another smack down on the oil companies and the mentality of those who plunder. I saw "Here We Are in the Years" at the Seattle show and the entire thing was brilliant. They out-jam any band I can think of. "Crazy Horse Jr." is not a fitting nickname. This is a special band that has the multi-instrumental Micah Nelson playing slide on the electric guitar, among other odd implements played with mastery and skill. Lukas Nelson has the ability to answer Neil Young's impressive assault with a style and skill all his own. He seems subdue on stage but don't be fooled. When the guy sings and plays guitar he unleashes lick after lick of tasteful and powerful accompaniment to our Don Grungio, the Godfather whose Vaults I would love to steal another Archives release from. Anyway, the band, yes, they are on fire! There is still time for some reluctant nay-sayers to climb on board this incredible tour. Neil Young is energized and just Killing it! The band is incredible, truly. The album songs sound strong when witnessed live on the tour. They cover half or less of the new album. What they do cover sounds fantastic. They have grown into the material. The singing sounds stronger live and the music is powerful and impressive. The Down By the River in Seattle was absolute Hammer of the Gods, the stuff of legends. Neil Young & his young friends, took his guitar and opened a Rainbow Bridge up through the stratosphere, stretching to into another realm. Not literally, but if you squinted you could kind of see it. There are many good booths there to educate the public about this "GMO" issue (the fact that it means huge amounts of poison in the food supply. Roundup is now defined as a carcinogen by the state of California. Monsanto is tanking, announcing lay-offs, losing a lot of their value as their business model backfires and they begin to face lawsuits from people given cancer by their products. F Monsanto and Cheers for Neil Young to stand up for Mother Earth and the humans! Neil Young us helping to turn the tide on GMO. They thought they had it in the bag with TPP, but now its falling apart. This is good for people who don't want to poison the entire population with carcinogens. Unless you buy organic, you are getting GMO. Its in all the food and all the meat. All the cheese, pasta, bread, milk, just about every product made to eat is loaded with Roundup. All the products which contain corn syrup are loaded with Glyphosate from the Roundup. Monsanto even got into the grass business so it could feed cows poison(?!). What a bunch of dangerous Morons to bribe policy and expose the masses to disease and death because some Poison manufacturer handed out a bunch of bribes? The FDA is totally in bed with Monsanto and Bayer and the big poison makers. Someday, somebody will be required to answer for all of this corruption and blatant conflict of interest between the Corps and the FDA. This is Russian Roulette for the population. Except the Russians were smart enough to keep out GMOs! Alan in Seattle
I meant to say, Micah is playing his electric guitar with a bow!

The restaurant chain Chipotle is Non GMO! They pay their employees a fair wage and give help with school, I believe. Good food!
