I was at that gig. A magic evening. Hairs stood on the back of my neck when Neil sang sitting on the dock of a bay.
C'mon Neil, bring the horse to England one more time.
What a great "moment". Anon, glad to hear you caught that experience.
Always a treat.
off topic-Neil, if your watching. You have some pull at Rock hall Fame> Put in some good words for fellow canadian rocker Rush. BTW great photo

GOOFY AS USUALL. AWESOME
This was my first ever Neil Young show! I went with my school friends and we stood at the front not far from where this photo was taken, it looks like. It was such an amazing day. Pearl Jam, James and Teenage Fanclub supported, Eddie Vedder threw carrots out to the audience, he said to help us see in the dark when Neil was on! I remember Neil playing Dock Of The Bay the best and a beautiful version of Harvest Moon. And Pearl Jam joined them at the end to play Rockin' In The Free World. Needless to say, I've been a huge Neil fan ever since.
Dam, I'd love to see that ,not been the UK for a while.Pease out Neil.
What a great days music. On top of a load of Neil Young classic tunes we got to hear "Sitting on the Dock of the bay" Ottis reddings only number one and he sadly was not around to enjoy it.Looking back though its hard to beleive that Neil Young has kept under raps his two new songs they did that day "Live to ride" and Seperate ways" we are still waiting for a Neil Young with Booker T and The MGS live album from that tour ,but i won,t hold my breath.
