Ironic that you post about this song on Independance Day, while, as you know, the song is not about being proud to be free, but about the downsides of living in a free world.
@ Wiebo: Well, yes. And actually -- as indicated by note above -- Neil posted the RITFW video on 7/4 too.
Anyways, our thoughts on the irony of Rockin' In The Free World.
A big BIG THANK YOU to our military men and women overseas and here in the states past and present.May they get to come home soon. And may not just the USA but the whole world be able to keep rockin' FREE!!

Hmmm, so what DOES 'Independence Day" actually MEAN to all you wheaties huh?
Independent to do what?
Yeah..we DO live in a free world as WE know it.
Independent to think what we feel,
say what we feel, hear what we feel,
take in what we want to, ignore what doesn't interest us,react to what abhores us, retaliate to what erks us, rebel to what displeases us,work hard to achieve our goals and aspirations, enjoy the fruits of our achievements, pay for the results of our misbehaviours and misdemeanours,be forgiven for our sins and hopefully learn from our mistakes, speak out freely when we want to and have an opinion of all those feelings and actions.
Yep, us fortunate in the "free world" are definitely masters of our own destiny...lets not totally f*^k it up for our future generations!!
