Massey Hall Memories
"From Hank To Hendrix" - Neil Young, Massey Hall 11-26-2007
As anticipation builds for the 2008 Europe tour, it seems like a nice time to look back on some of the memories of the 2007 tour. Sharry Wilson, from over on the Rust list posted extensively on the three night stand at Toronto's Massey Hall. Her report features photos, autographs and a vividly detailed concert report. Drive over to Human Highway for the full report.

I have sweet memories of Massey Hall too and here is one of them. On the 3rd night I decided to forgo most of Peggy's set and was walking down the mostly empty hallway to get to my seat. About 2 strides in front of me I noticed an older gentlemen. As I caught up with him I discovered it was Gordie Lightfoot. We went in the concert together and hung back to the side behind the door. My buddy and I shared a few words with him as he watched Peggy.
It was a bit of a surreal experience standing next to him chatting in Massey Hall after all the performances hes done in the same place. After the set he calmly walked down the isle and went into a door that presumably went backstage.
I really enjoyed reading Sharry's concert reviews!
Thank you so much for sharing your Massey Hall memories!
Still have to wait 39 days and 45 minutes to see Neil.....
