    ReplyDelete
  35. It sounds like a month and a half of touring through Europe, I think that when schedule will be completed, all fans living in Western Europe countries will be satisfied

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm really enjoying the Comments here. It's great to hear from Neil fans outside of North America and it will be even better to read your reviews, watch and listen to your videos when Neil Young and Crazy Horse are back touring in Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Looking forward to it!

    RIP Ravi Shankar

You opened my ears and mind along with countless others, including John Coltrane and George Harrison. Modern music would be so different without your pioneering influence. Music lives on and on...thank you

  37. I still hope for munich or anything in bavaria or upper austria. Stuttgart is just a liiiiitle too far for a drive without having to spend the night there.

    ReplyDelete
  38. what about Italy? any good news?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yiiieeeehhhaaa, waiting for years to see the Horse back in Hamburg...

    ReplyDelete
  40. As things goes, not just for Neil, dates in Germany and England are always the first to pop up for european tours. Many more countries to follow in my opinion (Holland, Belgium, all of Scandinavian countries are a sure bet, many good chances also for Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Spain. These are the markets that Neil usually covers when it comes to Europe)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Is Crazy Horse coming to the Netherlands as well?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I need to make one of these shows. Currently the Köln gig seems the most likely. Anyone know when the German shows come on sale? What about *any* info on Scandinavian gigs (especially Finland or Stockholm)?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Glasgow and London tickets obtained. hope to get dublin too , so looking forward to a geeat few shows, cant come soon enough. Thanks for bringing The Horse over to Europe Neil !

and yes Dublins not in UK, its West Liverpool..:-)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hopefully I can grab standing tickets for Glasgow & Newcastle...maybe Birmingham too when non O2 customers get a chance.

  46. You think more dates are coming?

    ReplyDelete
  47. 2 Tickets booked for London O2!!!!!!
This will be the 7th time we have seen NY following Manchester Apollo x2, Sheffield Arena, Brixton Academy, Hop farm festival and Glastonbury! Cant wait!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. If they even booked Stuttgart (a minor location) already it is pretty safe to assume several of the following: Munich, Frankfurt, Zürich and Vienna. Just the European logistics and centrality hierarchy suggest something like that. Then also they work synergetically on these big tours. Clapton is around and so is Springsteen, both of them touring venues the size Neil Young and Crazy Horse have been appearing at in the past.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Just heard:

june 8 Vorst Nationaal, Brussel (Belgium)

    ReplyDelete
  50. If that's true than I put my money on June 5 Amsterdam Ziggo Dome or Ahoy Rotterdam (home of the Horse)...
Ziggo Dome because it's new and sound is the best.

    ReplyDelete
  51. simon the fireman says thank you ticketmater and metro arena priority booking,I Am going with my own version of crazy horse, with stephen, luke and darren whoo hoo

    ReplyDelete
  52. Finally! Exellent news for all european fans. Now I know when to plan and where to go on my summer holidays. Doing a part of tour with NY&CH is definitely the best way to spend holidays. Can't wait!
    Dorian

    ReplyDelete
  53. OK, couldn't wait for news on the Scandinavian gigs, so had to book tickets for Köln with a couple of buddies. But now it looks like the Köln gig has been moved to Friday the 12th? Luckily this works better for us than the 9th. The uncertainty just makes us hold off on buying flight tickets...

    ReplyDelete
  54. Now got my tickets for London and Melbourne. Already done Austin & Tulsa. So lucky my travels co-incide with The Year of The Horse. Don't be denied!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Some greedy bastards in england give the rest of us a chance to get
tickets this is only a small isle
with neil playing three arenas its
not like the states with loads of shows, come on lads play fair!

  57. soon official: LUCCA, Italy - July 25

    ReplyDelete
  58. got mine via a friend on o2 for Glasgow & Newcastle. The fact he's playing early June and late July means there will be plenty of shows on the mainland. Reckon he will do it in stints again like a few years ago - do 2 weeks then go home, then come back again. I'm off to a great hardcore punk festival in late July in Czech Republic so a date nearby before or after would be great.

    ReplyDelete
  59. hate the fact 02 people get priority though - no wonder there's so much touting. If I got an email offering tickets early for anyone half decent I'd get 4 and sell them on for profit to fund more Neil gigs!

If Neil did theatres again real fans could miss out. It would be great if people who read this or are on rust list got priority.

At least we get to hear about things first thanks on Thrashers Wheat though !

  60. I'll be heading south on the train to Newcastle for an overnighter with the Horse. It would be good to catch up with any other rusties travelling down from Scotland on the Rust Express. My family will have to put up with me being hyper for the next 6 months...

    ReplyDelete
  69. Lucca is one of the prettiest old walled cities in Italy. This American has been fortunate to have been there twice. I know exactly where the festival takes place. That would be the treat of the tour I probably cannot make it, but at least I still have fresh memories of the AC benefit in my head.

  76. Neil:

We need your music now more than ever in Greece. Please think about making a stop here. It doesn't matter where, if you play the people will come! I'm an American, born and raised in Santa Monica, CA. I've lived in Northern Greece for the last 20 years but was just back home to visit the folks in the San Juan Islands and saw your show in Vancouver. How lucky you were to have so many people sing Happy Birthday to you! Greece holds a special place in the history of mankind and so does your music, so please think about coming here - thanks for listening.

  77. I love to see and especially hear Neil Young & Crazy Horse. So I can not unterstand the choice (of the management?) to play in O2 World Hamburg - this is no place for a real Neil Young Fan. I can only hope there would be a change to another place in Hamburg.
