In honor and celebrating Thrasher's Wheat 25th Anniversary: 1996 - 2021 -- and as even noted by The Man himself on NYA (see "HAPPY 25th Anniversary Thrasher’s Wheat!" | Neil Young Archives) -- we are now embarking
on a new and exciting adventure with our longtime partner Tony at WBKM.org, deep in the heart of Burlington, Vermont.
Back in 2012, WBKM and Thrasher's Wheat launched the weekly radio
program Thrasher's Wheat Radio which ran for over 150 episodes

as you may notice, our premiere is a bit rough in places. we still have much refinement and fine tuning to complete.
we really consider this to be a pilot experiment at this point -- mainly because of issues with handling copyright.
we still have much to navigate on the legal front. we needed to produce this pilot test to get in front of folks for evaluation. it is not our intent to directly monetize what we do. both wbkm & tw are non-profits.
if anything ever does accrue, Tony & thrashers are in alignment that 100% of all proceeds would be donated to Bridge school, Farm Aid and other similar non-profs.
in the meantime, enjoy for what we're trying to do and support the vision of where this will go as we allude to near conclusion.

For a first episode I think you both did just fine. Once you get a few episodes under your belt, and get into a rhythm, you guys will do great! I'm looking forward to many many more.

like with too much in life, there's a lot more to the legal side of all this than we prefer.
but we thought getting the demo concept out here for consideration was important.
Once we're ensured that the various parties are OK with this, then we'll be rolling out more episodes on a reg basis.
like neil, we've tried to make the most of our downtime as productive as possible.
