Here's a bit more on our favorite Neil Young song "Thrasher", which we have had the distinct honor and pleasure of enjoying not once, not twice, but thrice in concert ... are we not blessed?
Pretty disappointed in this film, I found the song footage switching between different years jarring. Would have much preferred the full show from the tour.
ReplyDeleteWatched the film this morning and I appreciated the intentions very much, but I too feel that the transitions between different performances was jarring as well. For me anyway, only a couple transitions actually worked. I did really enjoy the sequence with CSNY doing Southern Man, but I wish it would have been the complete performance. Great songs and great performances throughout, but I felt like it was a work in progress. Just my two cents.

Timeless Orpheum is quite beautiful, and is more than just an extended ad for Water.

But it also makes a nice case for Love.
And Time? I don't mind jumping between Woody's memories at all. In fact, some of his memories are
quite close to my own.
