Neil Young

Regarding Neil Young, we are now going into Year #4 of his concert hiatus. Neil Young has not performed live in concert since Sept 21, 2019 at Farm Aid in Alpine Valley, Wisconsin.

In January 2022, Neil Young announced on NYA that he has no 2022 tour plans "Until my bus is electric".

In November 2022, Neil Young said he wants "to do a self-sustaining, renewable concert tour with healthy, organic, farm-made, homegrown food at the venue concessions.

No word yet on Hollywood Bowl concessions.

  2. you got that you got that right Tomatron.

but with that many artists, sets will be very short, like 2 songs

also, recall that neil only wants to play venues w/ healthy, organic food. Any word on Hollywood Bowl concessions?

Also, all touring components need to be eco friendly.

Seriously, has neil waived his tour requirements to honor Willie? If so, how about Crazy Horse Summer 2023 tour??

tick tock, tick tock, tick tock,

  3. Did anyone get tickets during the Capital One presale today? A friend of mine said he tried, but could only see scattered singles and section R1 were going for $675 (that's center, but still pretty far back). Sections on the side were in the $300 range. That all seems pretty steep. I guess I'll log in tomorrow morning for the LN presale, but I can't really see going above $200 and sounds like I'll be priced out. The fact that you gotta commit to both nights is perplexing and if you resell, you have to resell both nights.

  4. @ Knowledge Nomad - thus far, we have heard of zero rustie grains success.

seems like everyone got "Swifted" by TM.

  5. New video for "single edit" version of Chevrolet popped up a couple of days ago. Good stuff..

My only thought on the ticket fiasco is that maybe it's not two shoes per se, but a 2-day event, i.e. different acts and/or set lists each night? Otherwise not much sense in expecting or wanting people to commit to both nights. Weird all around.

  6. I logged in about 9:45 and was put in the waiting room. Presale started at 10 and I was informed there were 2000+ people in front of me. Took about 20 minutes before I was able to see any tickets. Nothing under $450 per seat, so I passed. Anyway, hopefully this means Neil will actually go out on tour. @Metamorphic I suspect you're right about the different lineups for the two nights, and I'm sure both nights will be great. But it's an awful lot to ask of folks to commit to both nights, although it appears the market will bear it, so what do I know?
